On the edge of innocence and exhibitionism. Portraits of women.
September 2006, many unpacked boxes, hungry, looking for a supermarket. A shortcut to the ‘Korenbeurs’ was quickly found, I only had to cross the ‘Nieuwstad’. Nice cars. Tapping on a window, and I understood. 5 years later, two migrations southward. Same women, same area, another context. What do they think? These works are the result of a search for the boundary between the woman as a prostitute and a woman who is vulnerable with her own thoughts.
